We follow the THEORY OF CHANGE
which considers four critical tenets namely: prevention, prosecution, promotion and provisions with regard to victims and reinstating their rights.

Aawaj is borne out of the commitment to work for the most neglected and marginalized sections of the society keeping in view the rights of equity and equality enshrined in the constitution. Aawaj is borne out of necessity. Though Aawaj is a young group, yet you may consider it an old one. This group was formally registered under society registration act in 2013 but the founder members had been actively working on social issues in their respective fields of expertise since a long time.

Our motive is to train youth to aware people about the problem facing by children, especially on the issue of children’s safety. The informal urban settlements face inequities, discrimination & marginalization and suffer violations of their basic human rights.

Multilayered Efforts To Combat Child Trafficking

According to the Constitution of India, Article 23(1) has mentioned that the traffic of human beings & beggars and other similar forms of forced labor are prohibited & any breaking of this provision shall be an offense punishable by law.

COVID Awareness

Corona Awareness Campaign was launched in the city in which we used puppets, prompts and inspirational audio clippings, multimedia van, etc to aware people of the safety precautions and government guidelines during COVID-19.
